Geauga County announces the home of their new office building located in Claridon Township. It is a more efficient way to serve our tax-paying residents of Geauga County. The new facility is found at Ravenwood and Merritt Roads near the UH Geauga Medical Center and was completed in 2022.
A local, collaborative project that broke ground on October 28th, 2020 to serve our community now and
for generations to come. This new facility will centralize Geauga County services, unlike the current
Geauga County offices at 470 Center Street in Chardon. The flow of information, payments, and documentation
for county services will improve for our residents.

Geauga County and its residents will have a lot to be proud of when the new county office building is complete. Not only will this initiative centralize county offices and improve county services, but it is all funded by the current general fund. There will be no new taxes used to fund the project which has been a promise to taxpayers since discussions four years ago. This collaborative mission has been in the making since former County Commissioners had the foresight to purchase the land in the 70s and 80s Geauga County’s brightest minds and talent came together to serve our county’s residents. Thank you to all involved and may this new facility provide much growth in serving the residents of Geauga County for years to come.
