For the Board of County Commissioners Meeting of December 28, 2021

Open the meeting at 9:30 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.

1. The Commissioners’ Office is requesting the Board approve and execute Resolution #21-175 itemizing the financials for the meeting of December 28, 2021.
2. The Commissioners’ Office is requesting the Board approve and authorize the President of the Board to execute the revised Accounting Forms Authorization Forms and Payroll Authorization Forms for the Department of Development – Building and Community and Economic Development.
3. The Auditor’s Office is requesting the Board approve and authorize the President of the Board to execute the Ohio Auditor of State Engagement Letter for services to be provided by the Local Government Services section of the Office of the Auditor of State (LGS) to Geauga County for basic financial statements and the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the year ending December 31, 2021 in an amount not to exceed $45,000.00.
4. The Maintenance Department is requesting the Board rescind the motion from October 29, 2021 that was for the hiring of Charlene O’Callaghan to the position of General Communications Clerk / Switchboard Operator (#1912).
5. The Maintenance Department is requesting the Board approve an unpaid personal leave of absence for Russell Kohl, Custodian I (#1906) for forty hours during the period January 6, 2022 through January 12, 2022. This will extend his probationary period by one week, forty hours.
6. The Department of Water Resources is requesting the Board approve and authorize the President of the Board to execute the Request for Partial Payment #12, Ohio Water Development Authority Contractor’s Estimate #12 and the Ohio Water Development Authority Fund Payment Request #12 for TRAX Construction Company for the Chardon Township Wastewater Treatment Plant and Sewer Project in the amount of $88,935.29.
